Where does time go?

I started this blog with the intent to keep up with it and I am already horrible at it! In my defense it has been the craziest three months ever. Right now I am focused on trying to get over the mother of al sinus infections, recover from Miles turning 2!, and continue working on Chanukkah presents. The good news is that I just signed up for the Shivaya Love Lace Club. I am reallly excited. I have been checking out her yarn for a couple months now and this seemed like a great opportunity to try it.
Next time I post I will include some pictures of the various projects I have decided to try. I am making my first entrelac stole. I love it! I am using malbrigio in cinnambar. It is a gorgeous color of rust. I am also finally trying to finish my clapotis in fiesta boomerang. the colors are not part of my normal palette but I thought I would break out of the box and try something new. So far I am ok with it but not sure I love it. I am also starting Wooly Wormhead's mystery beret which will be part of a holiday present for one sister in law. It is a pink malbrigio and a wide scarf that can be a stole for my sister in chuncky twinkle and finally a prayer shawl for my mom. She saw it at L&B and fell in love with it.

First entry

This is very new to me. I feel like I have totatlly entered the world of technology now. I am oficially blogging! I thought it was a big deal when I entered message boards, but would you look at me now! So other than a lot of typos, hopefully this blog will include thoughts of knitting, maybe a small amount of crocheting, and lots of stories about my family. I was told this is a great way to vent frustrations and often find answers from others. So I am all for it! Knit on!
